"This is not a day for asking questions, not a day on any calendar.
This day is conscious of itself."

The ILLUMINATION installation will be a sucession of twelve stations, each dedicated to the transmission of an important insight. The pictures here are visualizations of such stations.Integraton of text with visual elements will be crucial (but not always shown here.) The poetry of Rumi will create a narrative thread, but the clear authority of other voicesfrom Black Elk to Neils Bohrwill be often heard. Throughout this exhibit, the spheres of art, science, and mysticism join to create an INTELLECTUAL- INTUITIVE understanding of the great event of our time, the shift in our world-outlook, a shift of mythic dimension.
The final station of this initiatory voyage will be a circular contemplative space inviting the visitor to reflect on the experiencethen to gently abandon old cognitive patterns and move into the deeper modes of perception pointed at by the installation. Modes where the nature of CONSCIOUSNESS itself may be seen directly, and the underlying fabric of reality and self glimpsed...as It really Is.

Emerging Rivers Turn to Light
Let yourself
be silently drawn
by the stronger pull
of what you really love.

How far is the light of the moon
from the moon?
How far is the tast of sweetness
from the lips?

Rear wall (left)
I would love to kiss you
The price of kissing is your life
Now my loving is running toward my life shouting
What a bargain, let's buy it

Rear wall (middle)
A table descends,
Jesus table.
Spread with other food better
than the broth of cabbages.

The moment you accept what troubles you've been given
the door will open.
Welcome difficulty

Right wall:
Essence is emptiness.
Everything else, accidental.
Emptiness brings peace to loving.
everything else, disease.
in this world of trickery
emptiness is what your soul wants

Emergence figure (center)
The breeze at dawn has secrets to tell you.
Don't go back to sleep.
You must ask for what you really want.
Don't go back to sleep.
People are going back and forth across the doorsil
where the two worlds touch
Th door is rpund and open
Don't go back to sleep.
